Hi there, Patricia!
I love your question. Thanks so much for posting it to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are asking about two of the most beautiful hotels on the planet, in my opinion.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are separated by a charming, winding footpath that only takes between fifteen and twenty minutes to traverse at a leisurely pace. Google Maps notes that the distance between resorts is only 0.6 miles, or a two minute drive. But if you're walking, I encourage you to slow down as you head toward Disney's Polynesian Village Resort from
The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Pay attention as the architecture and music shifts from turn-of-the-century Florida to the tropical strains of island music. Gaze out upon the watercraft sailing Seven Seas Lagoon and take in the glorious views of Magic Kingdom Park. It's a walk I'd gladly take every day if I had the chance.
While you're at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, don't forget that there's some of the best coffee on Walt Disney World Resort property at
Kona Island on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House. And, of course, I can never pass up the opportunity to enjoy a Dole whip from the
Pineapple Lanai just behind the lobby.
Enjoy your walk,
Jill
