Hello, Teresa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
The number one thing I can tell you about
Disney's Family Magic Tour is that you should do it! My family and I participated in the Tour for my birthday in 2017, and it was an absolute blast.
After our fabulous tour guide greeted us at
Magic Kingdom Park's Town Square Theater, she took a few minutes to ask questions about each member of our Tour's party in an effort to get to know us and find out about the things we love at Magic Kingdom Park. We played a quick introductory game and then the fun began.
We spent most of our time on the Tour solving Disney-related riddles and hunting for clues (each leading to another puzzle). The five kids in our group (between the ages of 1 and 12) had a blast solving the riddles and hunting high and low for the clues--but the adults definitely got into it, too! While each Tour's experiences might be a little different, our adventures took us through Main Street, U.S.A., Liberty Square, Fantasyland and a little bit of Tomorrowland. We had special surprises on Main Street, U.S.A. and in Fantasyland that made the adventure extra magical, and (although experiences may vary for your party) we got to experience two attractions as a group using the FastPass queue.
If you'll be experiencing the tour in August, you'll want to wear cool, comfortable clothing and good walking shoes. You'll have places to rest along the way, and you should receive a bottle of water before the Tour begins. I would recommend taking along a cooling towel and making sure you wear sunscreen, too.
I highly recommend this Tour, Teresa, and I hope you get to experience it during your next
Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
