Hi there, Tanya! I can see that you are hopping to the
Disneyland Resort TOMORROW, so let's make like Mr. Toad and take a wild (and quick!) ride straight to your answer!
Watch your step as you enter Toad Hall and climb into our open-air buggy. I know Mr. Toad can be a little reckless as he steers through the streets of London and the English countryside, I'll try to be a little more careful! I believe you might be talking about the
Harbor Boulevard Entrance to the Disneyland Resort, which is typically used for Guest pick up and drop off if you are taking the bus from the
Toy Story Parking Lot or using a shuttle service, ride share, or the pedestrian walkway from one of the nearby hotels. There does happen to be an IHOP right across the street! This entrance will lead you to the Esplanade where you can turn right for
Disneyland Park or left for
Disney California Adventure Park. While there is technically no opening or closing time to this entrance, you won't be able to careen straight through to the Esplanade like Mr. Toad. There is a security checkpoint that you will need to pass through which opens about an hour ahead of park opening. There is a bit of discretion on the opening time of these security checkpoints, so you may want to ask a Cast Member directly when you arrive.
Watch out! Mr. Toad has led us to an oncoming train! If you'd like to dodge it and are a guest of one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels, we can duck into Disney California Adventure Park through two special entrances! These pedestrian entrances are
pixie-dusted perks for hotel Guests who will be required to show a current reservation to the
Disneyland Hotel,
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, or
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. They operate during park hours and include the 30 extra magical minutes of
Early Entry for hotel Guests. The first of these special gateways is located in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and leads you directly to Grizzly Peak. The second opens up into Pixar Pier and can be accessed on the Disneyland Drive side of the resort just next to the security and parking booth for Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
Phew! I think we just missed that train, Tanya. I'll safely bring us back to the library of Toad Hall so you can get on your merry way to the Happiest Place on Earth tomorrow! If you have some time, be sure to take in the actual
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride! I just love that this is an opening-day attraction and you can feel all the charm and nostalgia of those early days while appreciating just how far this magical place has come. If you have any more questions, you know where to find us at
planDisney!
Magic awaits!
Tara
