Hey Joseph!
Welcome to
planDisney!
For me, a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth would not be complete with bringing something to capture the Magic of the trip so that I can relive those wonderful memories later. In my case, I cannot leave home without my camera and gear. I love taking pictures in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. There is so much detail that goes into each land that I can always find something new or unique to capture with my camera. I also love to take video in the parks of my kids so that I can have those memories of our trips forever.
I see that you were planning to take a gimbal into the theme parks. I have taken a gimbal into the theme parks many times myself and am happy to report that it is not on the list of
prohibited items. Unfortunately, the model that you wish to bring with you has a built-in extension rod (selfie stick) that is on the list of prohibited items and not allowed anywhere on the Disneyland Resort. I understand that using a gimbal for your videos produces a much smoother video, but you’ll have to find a different model that does not have a built-in extension rod feature to it.
Well Joseph, if you’d like to check a different model just come back and let us know.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
