Hiya, Ethel! Welcome to
planDisney.
I see that you have a trip planned to the
most magical place on earth later this fall. I bet you are getting so excited. It will be here before you know it. Hopefully, the countdown is on!
Ethel, right now the food served at both T
he Liberty Tree Tavern and
The Diamond Horseshoe at
Magic Kingdom Park are the same. Both menus feature all-you-care-to-enjoy platters of Roasted Turkey, Pennsylvania Pot Roast, and Oven-roasted Pork with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, and House-made Macaroni & Cheese. For dessert, the famous Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake which is Vanilla Toffee Cake, Chocolate Sauce, and Vanilla Ice Cream finish off your meal.
Fun fact: This area of Magic Kingdom Park features its own Liberty Tree. The tree is over 100 years old and was moved about 8 miles from the edge of Walt Disney World property to right in the middle of Liberty Square. It's a beautiful live oak tree that I marvel at each time I am at the park.
If you are trying to get a reservation at one of these spots but it's full, absolutely try the other since they both feature the same delicious meal. Both of the restaurants are beautifully Americana themed but have little differences here and there.
I hope this helps make your decision on where to eat during your upcoming vacation, Ethel. If you have any other questions about this please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Enjoy!
Jackie H.
