Hi! Can you tell me what days the Pirate Adventure sets sail from Grand Floridian? Also, are parents allowed to "hang out" at GF while the kids are at shore? We are DVC members staying at AK Villas. Thanks!!

    Hi Shawn!

Your little Buccaneers are going to absolutely LOVE setting sail on one of Disney's Pirate Adventures!

The Grand Floridian Pirate Adventure sets sail for its two hour voyage every day of the week except Sunday. The voyage beings at 9:30am and you should plan to arrive to check your kids in between 9-9:15am. To reserve a spot for your Little Mateys, call (407) WDW-PLAY today!

Parents are most certainly invited to hang out and explore the beautiful Grand Floridian while the children are out searching for buried treasure in the Seven Seas Lagoon! It doesn't matter which Disney Resort property you're staying at. Feel free to explore, shop, dine, whatever you choose! My favourite plan includes making a breakfast reservation for my husband and I at the Grand Floridian Cafe. We enjoy some cappuccinos, a delicious adult breakfast, ordered a la carte (check out the menu on the link above), and then when we're finished, we wander the shoreline watching for the kids and snapping some photos of their adventure. Make a breakfast reservation online or ask the Cast Member reserving your Pirate Adventure to help you with your reso when you phone.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question. I really hope you'll visit me again soon.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Shawn!
