Hi, Jill!
Crowds are hit or miss at
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Generally, the closer you get to Halloween, the busier the party can be. There are a limited amount of tickets sold for each night, and during sell-outs the park can feel quite crowded. However, tickets can sell out for any night, so plan ahead! My husband and I went last year and it sold out, and it was September! So buy your tickets if you have your heart set on going.
The good thing about the party, whether it is crowded or not-so-crowded is that much of what makes the Halloween party special does not depend on crowd levels. The Happy HalloWishes fireworks, Boo-To-You parade and Trick-or-Treating are so much fun, and all are enjoyable no matter how many party-goers there are! (The Boo-To-You parade is my very favorite Magic Kingdom parade, I love it!)
If you plan to go, have dinner at your resort as dining options are limited during party hours. Plus, you will not want to waste precious party time waiting in line for a hot dog! Feel free to wear your costume, and plan to take lots of pictures as the Disney Pals will be dressed in their Halloween finest, and there are some great photo opportunities.
I hope you decide to go, it is really a lot of fun. Have a great time and have a Happy Halloween!
