Can you tell me what a counter service meal is? Is there an area to sit down to eat? Do you have to have reservations for this?

    Hi Tracey!

A counter service restaurant is one where you order your meal at a podium and then pick it up at the counter. The types of food offered at most counter service places are things like salads, burgers, sandwiches and pizza. All of the counter service locations have tables and chairs available. Some places also offer outdoor seating. You just find an available table and seat yourself  once you've picked up your food.

You don't need reservations for counter service meals, which make them a great option for a quick meal whenever you feel hungry. Most places get quite busy during the normal lunch and dinner times, so I would suggest trying to arrive before noon for lunch and before 5:00 pm for dinner to make sure you can find a seat and limit your time in line.

There are multiple counter service locations in each park which all offer different types of food.

I hope this helps! Enjoy your vacation!
