Hiya, Carla!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney and sending this
Disneyland Resort planning question our way!
One of the things that I love about The Happiest Place on Earth is that Uncle Walt's vision was to build a park where everyone could have fun, and that included designing attractions for guests of all ages, sizes, and
physical abilities. I'm very happy to share that an
in-park wheelchair rental is currently *$15 per day and an ECV is *$60. These are first-come, first-served, but usually they do have enough for all who want them. The rental counter is to the right of the Disneyland Park turnstile entrances. The one bad piece of news is that these are only able to be used within the security boundaries of the resort, so both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Theme Park, as well as the entirety of the
Downtown Disney District; these chairs sadly cannot go with you back home to your
Disneyland Resort Hotel.
However, the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels do have a limited number of chairs that may be borrowed for use while at the hotel. Or, another option would be to rent a wheelchair or ECV through
Disney's featured third-party vendor Scooterbug Anaheim. I've rented a stroller through Scooterbug before and what I loved about this service is that our gEAR was dropped off ahead of our arrival so all we had to do was jump in and go; then, when it's time to say goodbye, you'll park your wheels at the Bell Services desk and they'll take care of the rest!
Bonus Tip:
hEARs a list of the attractions that will allow you to stay in your chair or require you to transfer to the ride vehicle.
I hope this answer helped to clEAR up your question, Carla, and helped you to better plan your upcoming Disney days! Let us know if you have any more
