Hi! Can you tell me if the Contemporary Resort still has computers in the rooms? If so, are they just in the tower rooms or are they throughout the resort. I thought they were a trial thing, but I still see them in many resort photos.

Hi Lois,

In 2007, my family and I stayed at the Contemporary in a tower room. It was during the resorts complete renovation. At that time, the renovated rooms did have computers. When we returned to the resort a few years later we were disappointed to learn that the computers had been taken out.

I'm assuming most guests didn't find it valuable. The computer keyboard did take up some space on the desk and you could only access the Disney Web site for free. If you wanted to get to any other site you needed to pay the per day rate.

If you are on vacation and you need to use a computer, the Contemporary Resort does have a business center with computers that you can use. Ask a castmember at check in for the details.
