Can you tell me what beverages/beverage containers are allowed to be brought in the park? I know snacks are allowed, but not sure about drinks. Does it have to be a sealed water bottle? My grandson will only drink homemade ice tea, can we bring that in?

    Hi Deborah!

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

The Florida heat can still be pretty intense in October, so I'm glad to hear you're planning ahead to keep your family hydrated during your vacation! You're welcome to bring beverages with you into the theme parks provided you don't bring any glass containers or alcohol. (You can check out the Walt Disney World Property Rules for additional information.) This means that you can bring open beverages with you and reusable water bottles are also welcome. I always bring reusable water bottles with us into the theme parks and I prefer insulated bottles to keep our beverages cold all day long. So you have a wide variety of options for your grandson's iced tea!

You're getting ready for an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation and it's just a few weeks away! The theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs are beautifully decorated to celebrate autumn and you'll be joining the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration during your visit. Are you planning to visit the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? It's my favorite special event at Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning to get the latest news about everything you can enjoy during your trip!

Feel free to come back to see us if we can help you again. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
