Hi there, can you tell me if the boats at Disney Springs are back up and running yet? I understand the water levels were too low a couple of weeks ago and the boats to the resorts from Disney Springs were shut down. Thank you.

Bon Voyage, Tatiana! I'm so glad you sailed over to planDisney today to talk about the Disney Water Transportation options to and from Disney Springs! This is one of my favorite perks of staying at select Disney Resort hotels like Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter as each of these offer this unique way to access the shopping and dining destinations at Disney Springs!

Tatiana, I'm happy to let you know that following some low water levels early this summer, the resort boats to and from Disney Springs are currently back up and running along the Sassagoula River! While weather is often unpredictable and beyond our control, hopefully with Florida's rainy season in full effect, the water levels will remain high enough for the boats to continue their daily voyages to and from Disney Springs!

If you do find yourself setting sail to Disney Springs, be sure to stick around for the newest nighttime spectacular, Disney Dreams That Soar! This state-of-the-art drone show uses about 800 drones to light up the sky with images of some of our most beloved Disney characters! Currently, the show is scheduled to run through September 2024.

I hope this helps, Tatiana, and I hope the water levels stay high enough for you to enjoy a Sassagoula River Cruise on your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions we can help with, come on back to planDisney and let us know!

    Magic and Memories,
