Can you tell me if the big Pyramid cake dessert is still available at San Angel Inn? I finally have a reason to order it but i dont see it on the menu.

Magical greetings, Lori, and welcome back to planDisney! We've missed you, and I'm so glad you paid us a visit to ask your question about dessert at San Angel Inn Restaurante. Let's dig in!

This gorgeous and decadent dessert first made its debut during Walt Disney World's 50th birthday celebration. It was certainly quite a showstopper, shaped like a Mexican pyramid and sized for a family to share. It was on my list, too, but alas, I never made it in to order it. There are too many wonderful things to try and too little time. I took a look at the menu, and I don't see this creation on it currently. The closest thing to it is the Brownie Sundae, which is described as a "fudge brownie with dulce de leche ice cream and topped with cajeta sauce." As delicious as that sounds, I know it isn't what you're thinking of, though.

If you're seeking an impressive-looking shareable dessert, I do have a few ideas for you. Located at Disney Springs, The BOATHOUSE is one of my favorite restaurants, not just at Walt Disney World, but anywhere. They have a S'mores Baked Alaska that serves 4 and a 21 Layer Chocolate Cake that serves 2 on their menu. I can personally attest that the chocolate cake serves way more than 2, though. Of course, there's always the very famous Kitchen Sink Sundae at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Their menu says it serves 4, but again, I have experience with way more than 4. It's topped with a whole can of spray cream, after all.

Lori, I know you were wishing for a different answer, but I hope I've given you some ideas for what you have in mind. Definitely keep an eye on the menu I linked above for you, though. You never know when a fan favorite might make its way back out of the vault and onto the menu again. Have a fantastic trip. If you have any other questions, please visit us soon.
