Hi Stacey,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It's great that you're planning ahead for your stay at Walt Disney World!
I just returned from Walt Disney World and I made a point to check out the newly re-imagined Old Port Royale at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. You might already know this, but I'll share that
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort now features an even more relaxing and enticing island time feel with new amenities. I can say for sure that our dinner at
Sebastian’s Bistro was one of the most enjoyable Disney dining evenings of the many we've experienced.
I'm not certain if you're asking about room size or Resort size when you ask about "how big," but in my opinion Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort gets the mark for both. A typical room size with 2 queen-size beds at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is 300 square feet, while a typical room size with 2 double beds at
Disney's Pop Century Resort is 260 square feet.
When it comes to the overall Resort layout, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a collection of island areas — Aruba, Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, and Martinique — all nestling Barefoot Bay. We took the time to wander around and soak up the island magic, and we even spent time hanging out in the hammocks on the beach. I find it a simply beautiful island Resort. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort does feature an internal bus loop and a bus loop for the theme parks.
Stacey, here's wishing you a wonderful stay.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
