Howdy Tara!
Welcome to planDisney. I love the Spanish and Mexican influences that inspired the look and feel of
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. My kids have asked us to stay there so they can swim at the Dig Site Pool, which has the Mayan Temple pyramid as its backdrop. I know you are going to absolutely love your time there.
So I would request either building 1, 2, or 3 in Casitas, as they would be the closest to the Rix Sports Bar & Grill and bus stop 1. If they have a view of Lago Dorado, that would be amazing, as it looks out across the water and the rest of the resort. In my experience, cast members will do their best to accommodate any of your requests, but they are never guaranteed. I really think you will love whatever room you end up getting because this resort is absolutely beautiful.
If you have space in your schedule, I recommend trying the Dahlia Lounge during your stay at Coronado Springs Resort. This Spanish-inspired rooftop lounge has a great mix of tapas (Spanish for appetizers, of course) that look super tasty. The drink menu looks awesome as well. I haven’t tried it myself, so if you do, please let me know what you think.
By the way, please enjoy this amazing video from my friends Jen and Elizabeth on
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
Tara, I hope your family has a magical stay at Coronado Springs. Please stop by
planDisney any time, and one of my fellow panelists or I will be happy to assist you.
See ya real soon,
Robert
