Hey, howdy, hey, Leslie! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm excited to see you're planning another out-of-this-world adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm even more excited to chat with you about the new
Geo-82 bar and lounge in EPCOT!
Leslie, at this time, Geo-82 is only accessible to guests who make
advance dining reservations to visit. Because of the popularity of this space and the limited seating, it is almost always at capacity and does not currently offer a walk-up option. While this can change, I'd highly recommend securing your reservations in advance (remember that
reservations can be made 60 days ahead of time!) to ensure you get to experience this new space!
I actually was able to visit the lounge a few weeks ago for the first time with some of my panelist pals, and we were wowed by the aesthetics and the views! We enjoyed some specialty drinks and shared the Chef's Selection of Artisanal Cheeses, Cured Meats, and Accompaniments from the menu. Our waitress shared with us that the menu is focused on bringing to life trends of today's cocktail culture - they even provide a Cocktail Key to show you how drinks are chosen and prepared - so if the featured cocktails aren't your style, keep in mind that they do also offer a full bar and you're able to request other cocktails and mocktails if you'd prefer!
Leslie, this space is unique in that it is only accessible to guests at least 21 years of age, so it felt like a more upscale moment to relax and unwind in a peaceful and beautiful space. I definitely enjoyed that our reservation time was at mid-day for that break from the business of a park day, but I also think a
nighttime fireworks reservation during
Luminous The Symphony of Us will be an iconic experience for those who are lucky enough to secure a reservation!
