I just ordered a Disney Platinum Pass, and plan to activate it in a few weeks. I took a look at my personal
My Disney Experience account, and under Tickets and Passes, it lists that I have a Platinum Pass linked to my account, with an expiration date of December 31, 2030. I would hope this would give you plenty of time to take your exchange certificate to a
Guest Relations window at Walt Disney World to activate it!
Once my pass is activated, the new expiration date (1 year after first use unless other terms apply) will be listed appropriately on the account.
I have previously had an
Annual Pass, and just love the convenience of coming and going from the theme parks. I also enjoy the benefits of being a pass holder, especially the dining and shopping discounts. Make sure to keep your Annual Pass handy and show it the proper Cast Members when shopping or dining to receive your Annual Pass discount.
