Do the televisions at AOA support HDMI or USB inputs - thinking of bringing some movies with us for downtime at the resort, I've heard the Wifi may not support streaming services like Netflix?

    Hi Leigh-Anne,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I’ve stayed at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort before and, although I didn’t try to hook anything up to the TV in our room, I did notice that it had several ports that I could use, including an HDMI input. You should be good to go if you want to use it to watch movies during your stay. Don’t forget, however, that there might be some great movies playing on the “standard” channels (after all, we don’t get a whole bunch of them in Canada!) so you might be surprised at what you find when you click around.

As for using the hotel’s wifi for streaming services such as Netflix, I’ve been able to do so during my previous stays. That being said, there can be problems with “lag” and screen speed at times, especially during “peak” periods at night or in the morning. I think it’s a good idea to have a backup set of movies, just in case, if that’s what you plan to do during your “downtime” at the Resort.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect visit to Walt Disney World Resort for you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions - I love helping out my fellow Canadians!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
