Can teens enter park without adult?

Hi Erin! Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with teens is a whole new world of opportunity for the whole family!

I like to say that my sons were “raised in the Disney Parks.” All three are new teens! They love the Walt Disney World Resort more now than ever! Part of that comes from the fact that my wife and I allowed the boys to begin visiting the Disney Parks “parentless” beginning a few years ago. This was a little difficult at first. We always went to the Walt Disney World Resort to make memories as a family. We quickly realized that allowing the boys to venture to the parks on their own was simply a way to make new memories!

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a Guest who is age 14 or older. This was a game-changer for our family! The boys enjoyed the independence of being able to venture to the parks on their own. My wife and I came to enjoy some time to relax at the resort while the boys were off having a great time together in the parks! They’ve made their own memories as brothers, while my wife and I enjoyed a little “peace” without our very own “Huey, Dewey, and Louie” being around for a little while.

Erin, come on back to planDisney if you have more questions! We’re happy to help!

    Happy Planning!
