My teenage daughter will be traveling to Disney on a school trip. She is a vegan, partly due to milk protein allergy. She will be making food choices on her own throughout the days and I'd like to compile some information on places where she can eat.

    Hi Kelly!

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your daughter will have so much fun at Walt Disney World!

Food allergies can be challenging, but luckily Walt Disney World makes it easy to find the right food options. For any and all food questions, I love to refer to the Special Dietary Requests information on the Walt Disney World website. Such a great resource for guests with many different type of food allergies or issues. They have a phone number posted there so you can call and get a great plan of action figured out prior to your daughter's arrival.

On the Special Dietary Request page is information on bringing in your own food, requesting special meals, talking to chefs and even where to find information on the participating restaurants and quick service locations. My youngest has a few food allergies and we simply tell a cast member upon arrival at the restaurant and often times they will either give me options on the spot, or bring out the chef to talk to.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
