    1) can the teams for EEC be more than 2 people? 2) which is it a better way to book accomodations for the race? We are coming in on May 2-6th there is 3 of us going to be staying in a room, AP, FL Res, or Runner discount

    Hi Christina!

The Expedition Everest Challenge is a really fun race followed by a great party at Animal Kingdom!

The teams can only be two people, and you can also do it individually.  I ran it last year on a team with my 9 year-old son, and we had so much fun!

As for booking your rooms, that really depends on what kind of specials and rates you can get.  Generally, I book with runDisney (407-WDW-IRUN), and keep my eye on other discounts to see if I can get a better deal.  If so, I have been able to cancel my existing room in the past to go with the better rate.  (be sure to check cancellation policies when you book, as they are always subject to change)  If I were you, I would price it all ways and see what gives you the best deal.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
