Hi, Team! Could you please confirm the extras included with the Castaway Cay cabanas? Some of my search results have listed floats/snorkels/bike rentals; but others have listed floats only. Thank you.

    Hi there, Laura!

Welcome back to planDisney. I am happy that we have been able to help answer your previous Disney vacation questions!

The Disney Castaway Cay cabanas are such a special retreat on my favorite tropical island! On past cruises, my group's cabanas came with complimentary snorkeling gear, floats and tubes, and bike rentals. My planDisney friends and I biked all over Castaway Cay during our training trip a couple of years ago. It was the perfect (and most fun) way to explore the island! We also loved snorkeling in the lagoon and searching for all the Disney treasures scattered throughout the water. Just stop by Gil’s Fins and Boats or Flippers and Floats to receive your snorkel gear before heading to your cabana.

The cabana usually comes stocked with plenty of snacks, such as fruit, chips, and granola bars, plus a mini refrigerator filled with water and soda. We also loved using the cabana's little wall button to order cocktails (for an additional cost) from the cabana hosts, who made us feel completely pampered! For lunch, we wandered over to Cookies Too BBQ. We ate there, but Guests can also bring their trays back to their cabana for a more relaxed vibe.

Cabanas are extremely popular and often book up as soon as Concierge-level Guests can make their reservations during their booking window. Those Guests can let their Concierge Team know they would like a cabana, and the team can usually book it for them. Availability is always limited, since so many Guests hope to reserve one, and there are a limited number on the island. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you can get one for your cruise! If it doesn't work out ahead of time, try stopping by Guest Services after boarding the ship. Sometimes a last-minute opening pops up!

Keep in mind that cabana offerings are subject to change, even though they have stayed fairly consistent in my previous experiences. As your sail date gets closer and after your booking window has opened, you can check with Disney Cruise Line to confirm which amenities are currently included with cabana rentals.

Laura, I hope your Disney Cruise is filled with laughter and joy! Please contact planDisney again if you have additional questions.

    Happy sailing!
    Jen
