Hey there, Jacob. Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm so sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well and were not able to make your visit to the Disneyland Resort as planned. Not to worry, we're here to help, so let's take a look.
One of the things that I love about Disneyland Resort theme park tickets (besides using them), is knowing that there is some flexibility built into them. Great news, Jacob. You can absolutely reschedule your day of magic as long as you redeem your ticket by its expiration date. When you visit the Disneyland site to book your new
theme park reservation, if you have a 1-day One Park Per Day ticket, you will be given options for dates that you can reschedule for according to the ticket tier type that you originally purchased. Also, if you aren't able to visit before your ticket expires, there's still no need to worry. The value of
wholly unused expired tickets (excluding special event tickets) can be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket as long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.
There are so many wonderful things planned for 2024 at the Disneyland Resort. Hopefully, the
calendar that was posted on Disney Parks Blog will help you plan for when you might want to visit to experience certain events. I know I'm getting excited for my next visit during the
Lunar New Celebration at Disney California Adventure Park.
Well, Jacob, I hope this helps and puts your mind at ease. You may have had to wait a little bit longer, but I'm excited about your upcoming magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. May you have the best Disney day ever!
Michelle
