Hi Team, If we have disney resort reservation then same day can we go to Park? What about luggage and checkin? Thanks, Mohini

Hi Mohini, and welcome to planDisney!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Your vacation is right around the corner, so now is the time to plan!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Going to the theme parks the day of your arrival is an excellent idea, and depending on the time you arrive, there is a chance your room may not be ready. Just check into your resort, drop your luggage off with Bell Services and be on your way. Please do not feel rushed; enjoy yourself and grab a bite to eat and when you are done, just let Bell Services know that you are ready for your luggage. Of course, if you happen to opt to rent a car, you are free to head straight to the theme parks and leave your luggage in the trunk; it is good to have options.

I recommend completing check-in before your arrival date and utilize the Direct-To-Room Service. Once your room is ready, you can bypass the guest services at the front desk, go straight to your room, and unlock your door using the My Disney Experience app or your MagicBands.

Please let us know if you have additional questions before your arrival.

    Have a magical day!
