Hi, Laura! It's a pleasure to answer your questions today. It's a joy to share in the excitement of a Disney Cruise with our fellow guests!
Deck 4 is known as the
Promenade Deck, and is well-liked by walkers, joggers, shuffleboard players, and anyone wanting to take in a sweeping view of the ocean. The distance of one lap around the Promenade Deck is 0.4 miles on the
Disney Dream. There aren't specific time restrictions for access, however, sometimes you will find that a short amount of the deck is closed if Crew Members have any tasks to perform that require them to limit guest access.
As an early riser, I think you will love the opportunity to take some laps around the Promenade Deck in the morning and see what's happening at sea. You might watch as the Disney Dream arrives at a scheduled port for the day and marvel at the Captain's parking skills. You may see wildlife, ocean life, or stunning coastlines. I encourage you to be out early and enjoy the sights.
I can tell you are excited, and rightfully so! A Disney Cruise Line vacation is packed full of fun and memories. My daughter says that the feeling she gets when she steps onboard the ship is "beyond happiness". I hope that you'll be feeling the same way when it's time to embark on your adventure at sea.
Visit us again if you have any more questions. My pals and I are here for you.
Adventure Awaits!
