    I am a teacher in Ohio. Are there any Disney special discounts for teachers? Thanks!

    Hi Rick,

    Both of my parents are retired teachers!  The Swan and Dolphin resorts both offer discounted rates for public service employees including teachers, nurses, and government employees.  These rates are based on availability are not available on all dates. You can reach them at 1-800-227-1500.  When you check in under such a discount, you will be asked to provide proof of eligibility (e.g., work ID,  pay stub).

    Both of these resorts share a wonderful location in the Epcot Resort area.  They are not owned by Disney, but guests are able to use Disney Transportation located on site.  From either, you can walk or take a short boat ride to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom transportation is via bus.
