Hi there, Hollie! Welcome to planDisney! I am so glad you stopped by! And can I just say, thank you for what you do! Being a teacher is real-life magic, and it takes a whole lot of patience, heart, and pixie dust to show up for kids every single day. Your students are so lucky to have you in their corner!
Disneyland Resort doesn’t currently offer a direct ticket discount for educators, but I do have a few ideas that might save you a few pennies! First, check with your teachers’ union, since some unions offer discounted tickets through member programs. I have also seen third-party, verified individuals platforms offer deals from time to time. If neither of those pan out, one extra tip is to buy Disney Gift Cards through a retailer like Costco, where you may be able to pay a little less than the card’s full value, then use the gift cards to purchase your tickets.
Looks like you will be visiting Disneyland in July. If you happen to be visiting with kiddos of your own, there is a magical offer just for kids ages 3 to 9 this summer! The
Kids’ Summer Offer Ticket is a Park Hopper Ticket for $50 per day, valid May 22 through September 7, 2026! This is a great deal that will save you a lot off the standard child ticket price.
With your July visit, you will be able to catch the tail end of the Celebrate Happy
Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration! It has been my favorite celebration to date decor and entertainment wise, so I am glad you get to see it before it concludes August 9, 2026. Make sure to stake out a spot to watch the Paint The Night Parade. I had such a good time dancing curbside to the songs and seeing the bright and cool floats and entertainers this past week! It will leave you singing
"when can we do this again!". This summer also brings
Soarin' Across America in honor of America's 250th Anniversary. I am very excited for this and can't wait for its debut on July 2nd, 2026.
Hollie, thank you for bringing us this question and truly, thank you again for all you do for your students! You are helping shape minds, build confidence, and make a difference in ways you might not even get to see right away, and that is pretty incredible! I still remember my favorite teachers so clearly, and I hope your students carry those same memories of you for years to come. Have the most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Cheers!
Kimberly
