Carys from Carmarthenshire Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Is tea with Alice still on the Disney Magic cruise or has be replaced with Royal court tea party with the princesses, also is an free event or would pay for this tea party and does require an ticket and would be on during British Isles cruise from Dover.

    Bonjour Carys!

It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you back to planDisney! So wonderful to have you onboard with more planning questions about your upcoming European itinerary. Adding those extra touches by reserving special events is one way to take your cruise to a whole new level. My kids were always enthusiastic about interacting with characters. I applaud your plans and I am more than happy to lend an assist in how to make these reservations.

Offered onboard all Disney ships, the Royal Court Royal Tea is tailor-made for princes and princesses ages 3-12. Lady Chamomile and Chef Brule host this festive tea featuring herbal teas and both a savory and sweet course. Expect stories, dancing, singing, and lots of smiles. Plus, kids receive a special assortment of gifts and a visit from some of their favorite princess friends!

Given all the amazing perks of this experience, this event is available for an additional fee. While subject to change, current pricing for the Royal Court Royal Tea is $220 for children and $69 for adults. Children must be accompanied by an adult to attend. To book a seat at the royal table, go to "My Cruise Activities" online. If it's filled up, talk to one of the Cast Members at Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship) as soon as you arrive onboard.

Another fantastic experience is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, a magical salon that transforms guests into the characters of their dreams. There is quite an assortment of packages available, from princesses to pirates to Captain Mickey and Minnie. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique packages offer an assortment of themed costumes, accessories, makeup, and styling. My daughter always loved choosing her hairstyle as well as the pampering and attention she received from her Fairy Godmother-in-Training during her appointment! I cannot recommend this highly enough, especially if your child is a fan of princesses or pirates.

If you visit the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique page on Disney Cruise Line's website, the package descriptions and pricing can be found by clicking on the ones that interest you. Since magical makeovers are very popular, you can make an appointment once your cruise is paid in full and as soon as your advance booking window opens.

Carys, you are welcome to “be our guest” at planDisney anytime! Wishing you a MAGICal vacation!
