Hey there Kimberly and welcome back to planDisney!
Pocahontas taught me very young that you can't step in the same river twice. The same rules apply to the Walt Disney World Resort. The magic's always changing and always flowing. While I'll admit that it's really tough to do everything in one day, I'm happy to work my FairyGodTaylor magic and teach you how to maximize your time.
Step 1: Rise and shine! Starting your day early primes you to get to some big-ticket Attractions like
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT or
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom Park before the crowds get too thick. If you're a Guest at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel you can even take advantage of 30 extra minutes of park time in the morning via
Early Theme Park Entry at the day's participating park.
Step 2: If seeing a parade is a priority(as it should be)
Disney Festival of Fantasy is best watched from Frontierland. After it's over you'll be among the first wave of Guests to disperse and then be able to take on more rides or character meet and greets.
Step 3: Eat at odd times. If you're stopping to eat at standard meal times, more than likely so is everyone else. By eating meals either before or after the crowds, you'll be hopping in line for those meet and greets and rides while everyone else is waiting for their food.
Kimberly, the truth is it's nearly impossible to do it all in a single day at The Most Magical Place on Earth. But I hope I've given you a few key tips to create the perfect strategy for you and your granddaughter to do as much as you can. But I think missing certain parts of the fun is the perfect reason to plan another trip! If you have any other questions, just
come right back for another chat.
Happy planning!!
Taylor
