Hello again Paulette and welcome back to planDisney!
Mickey and Goofy. Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Timon and Pumbaa. Friendship is a hallmark of all things Disney so I think you're falling into perfect step by helping your friend add some magic to her grandchildren's world. 2 days at
Magic Kingdom Park is how my goddaughter spent her 5th birthday during her first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort so I'm definitely happy to share what I discovered.
It's truly a paradise for a little one who's just starting out on their Disney journey. One of our first Attractions was
The Barnstormer. This is a great way to discover how that little one will feel about coasters. If the baby turns out to be a speed demon like my goddaughter definitely give
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad a try in Frontierland. But for things that are a bit more mellow in pace,
Peter Pan's Flight,
Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid, and
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh are all perfect for letting them dive right in with some of their favorite characters.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the
Mad Tea Party are classic Disney staples. Tell your friend to hang on on that last one though. My goddaughter almost made me lose my phone and my lunch with her spinning speeds!
Pro-tip: If this is their first time making magic at The Most Magical Place on Earth, pop into any merchandise location and grab a First Visit button to let everybody know you're having an extra special day.
Paulette, you're an amazing friend for trying to help brighten up someone else's vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!
Happy helping!
Taylor
