    ?about taxis. I was hoping to take a taxi Xmas morning from POR to MK, for CRT. I just read that non-Disney transportation can't go up to the gates. Where can the taxi go? ...and how do I complete the trip? 41 days and counting :0)

    You are correct. Non-Disney transportation cannot take you directly to the Magic Kingdom. Instead, it must drop you at the Transportation and Ticket Center. The TTC is located near the MK parking lot and the Polynesian hotel. From the TTC you can take either the monorail or a boat to the Magic Kingdom.

    Taxis can drive you right up to the entrance at the Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and Downtown Disney. The Magic Kingdom is the only place where you would have to transfer out of the cab and continue on to your destination using additional transportation.
