Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Dawn.
I think it is super exciting that you are planning a trip to
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground with your cub scout pack, Dawn. You guys are going to make so many memories doing that that will last a lifetime. I stay at The Fort, as it is lovingly nicknamed, a few times a year and it is always a fun time.
Dawn, I think you are right. You aren't going to be able to use the normal reservation system because I'm thinking your group is going to be too large. However, there is a special team dedicated to group camping. The number to call is (407) 939-7807. You'll need to listen to the menu options and then select the coordinating number to reach the Group Camping specialist. You can call that number Monday-Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Mickey Mouse's time. A specialist will be able to help you set it all up.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is such a fun, big place but it is really spread out. What I would recommend doing, Dawn, is bringing bikes or renting a golf cart once you get there. To
rent a golf cart you can call 407-WDW-PLAY. They start renting golf carts a year in advance, however, maybe that is something you can also talk to the group camping specialist about.
I hope this helps point you in the right direction, Dawn. If you have any other questions along the way, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Happy planning!
Jackie H.
