Usually the Disney Christmas Parade is filmed the first weekend in December. They usually do not announce the exact date, but the date has been the first Saturday in December. You will need to enter the Magic Kingdom early that day and hopefully will be able to be a part of this wonderful and magical event! It is so much fun watching the parade on T.V., and I can only imagine it would be fantastic to see it in person, Damien!
