Hi Tanya, We are planning to go to Disney in July and are trying to maximze our vacation without spending so much. I am having trouble deciding on the tickets, what is the best to buy. We want to go to Magic Kingdom we have a 8, 6 and 3 year old.

    Hi Lisa Marie!

Disney makes "customizing" tickets that suite your family's interests and budget super simple.  You can decide how many days to purchase tickets for, as well as whether you would like to add a number of options, including Park Hopper (which allows you to visit multiple parks in a given day) and Water Park Fun & More (which provides admission to the water parks, DisneyQuest and Wide World of Sports) to your vacation experience.

As you can guess, as you add options, ticket prices increase.  If you are on a budget, I recommend sticking with Magic Your Way Base Tickets.  If you carefully plan your itinerary, and focus on one of the major theme parks per day, these tickets work great.  You can start your morning in a given park, head back to your resort for a swim, rest or lunch and then head back over to the (same) park later in the afternoon.

    Have a wonderful trip!
