Hi Tanya, My son is 7and has OCD, Overanxious Disorder of Childhood, and ADHD. we are traveling next week to WDW and I was told by a friend that they can issue a pass for my family to avoid waiting in long lines. Is that possible?

Hi Maryanne,

Thanks for writing. In my experience, Disney is a very user-friendly destination for children with special needs and their families. If your son's disability prevents him from waiting on line, you can request a Guest Assistance Card at Guest Relations at whichever park you visit first. At the Magic Kingdom, Guest Relations is located inside City Hall, which is on the left as you enter the park. Some families chose to bring a physician's note to expedite the process. Depending upon your son's needs, a card can be issued which enables your family to utilize an alternate entrance for most attractions that is generally less crowded. The Guest Assistance Card will not eliminate waiting completely, but tends to make the process much for manageable for guests whose disabilities make long waits difficult.
