    Hi there Bill!

Thanks for writing me!  I have a few dining suggestions for your family:

    • First, I recommend a character meal. Chef Mickey's is my opinion of the quintessential character dining experience.  Breakfast features Mickey, Goofy, Chip & Dale and dinner has Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto.  The restaurant is easily accessible either before or after a trip to the Magic Kingdom because it is at the Contemporary Resort.  Crystal Palace is located at the Magic Kingdom and features Winnie the Pooh and pals in a lovely glass atrium.  If your kids like Playhouse Disney, Play n' Dine at Hollywood Studios is a great choice, as the Little Einsteins and talented cast members entertain the crowd with songs from their favorite shows.
    • My kids love Coral Reef, located inside the Seas Pavilion at Epcot.  The seafood is delicious, and every table affords a prime view of a huge floor-to-ceiling tank filled with exotic sea life.
    • Sci-Fi Dine in Theater is a fun choice as well.   You sit in 1950s-style convertibles and watch old films and cartoons as you eat.  It's usually a kid favorite.
    • The Rainforest Cafe is a big hit with my boys.  Dining in a tropical rainforest where the weather changes while you eat is a big thrill.  The new T-Rex restaurant is a good choice is you have any dino-lovers in your family.  (They are both owned by the same company.)
    • I've stuck with largely family favorite spots, however, you should also be completely comfortable taking your kids to any of the fine dining restaurants on property.  My kids love the desserts (and we love the steak and wine) at Yachtsman Steakhouse.  The kids get a chocolate puzzle to assemble and "paint" with strawberry and chocolate sauce!  California Grille and Jiko are two more of our favorite signature dining choices.

I hope you have a wonderful trip, and be sure to say hi if you see me around town!
