    Hi Tanya, thanks for all help so far..We are using a friends DVC points. Are we eligible for the free dining plan? I see they just extended into Nov. If not is there a discount for DVC customers (even though we do not own it)?

    Hi Susan,

    Thanks for writing back.  Unfortunately, the free dining promotion is only available to guests booking a 5/day, 5/night Magic Your Way package (which includes a Disney Resort hotel room).  Since you are staying in a room in another manner, you wouldn't be eligible for this promotion.  For more information regarding the free dining promotion, that has just been extended for many nights through December, please click  HERE.

    DVC Members do get many discounts (member perks) at a number of restaurants and special events throughout the parks.  If you are dining out with the DVC owners they will be able to extend that discount to the entire table.  A full list of Member Perks is available on the DVC Member website.  Click HERE for more information.  In order to access the discounts afforded to DVC members and their guests, you would need to show a valid DVC Membership Card, or current Key to the World Card with "DVC Member" printed on it.
