Tanya, Thank you! This next trip is going to be just my autistic daughter and me. It's been a few years and she wants to try the things she had difficulty with. Does the alcove-like room in Akershus that's next to the World Showcase promendade have a name?

    Hi Rochelle,

How wonderful that you and your special gal will enjoy a trip together.  She's amazing to try to tackle experiences that are a challenge for her.  Kudos to your daughter and you!    I only know of that area (which is generally used as a photo spot for guests enjoying the princess character meals to have their photos taken alongside a Disney princess) as "the alcove."  To my knowledge, it doesn't have any special name.

I hope you both have an incredible "girls' only" trip!
