Hello Tanya, you had stated in another ?? that you use your snack credit as breakfast items, great idea. Fruit for my DD is great, my DS not so much, is there more than fruit options for bkft to use as snack? If so, where can I do this staying POP, thanx

    Hi there fellow Jersey girl!

Thanks for writing to me!  I have two boys, and the things I do to get them to eat fruit are downright comical sometimes, so I hear you!  Here are some "snack" ideas you could use for breakfast that will hopefully make your son happy.  Most can be found in the food court at your resort.

    • Single-serve cereal with milk (the little cereal "bowls" that you can pour the milk directly into)
    • Bagel with cream cheese
    • Most pastries (including muffins and danishes)
    • At the Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom, a snack credit will get you a danish or breakfast pastry, fruit salad (for your daughter, of course!)  or yogurt parfait.
    • At KRNR Snacks at Hollywood Studios, you can get a smoothie with fat-free yogurt

Breakfast tends to be the least expensive meal of the day for most families, so even if you have to pay out-of-pocket to pick up a Mickey waffle or a kids breakfast platter for your son at the food court, you'll still end up saving a significant amount (in my opinion, of course!) by saving your counter-service and table-service credits for lunch and dinner respectively.  Another option is to pick up a bag of bagels or some other breakfast staples at the gift shop at Pop Century Resort and have breakfast in your room.  This way you can save your snack credits for things like Mickey ice cream bars, popcorn and hot pretzels in the parks when your family gets the munchies!

    Have a fantastic trip!

    Tanya
