Hi Tanya! What SBS stroller accomodates a 6&4 year old? Debating whether to get WDW stroller or bring own. Also, what mod resort do you recommend for 1st timers with boy6 & girl4? Would like smaller walks after long days and good pools. Thank you

    Hi Deena!

Thanks for writing!  I'll start with the stroller first.  I'm a bit dense, so I had to ask some of my Moms Panel Pals what "SBS" meant, and figured it out with their help.  My "Side-by-Side" model is a MacClaren Triumph.  It's a 2007 model and each seat can accommodate kids up to 55 lbs.  Last summer my (very tall) boys were 4 and 6, and fit really well in it.  This was one of the only strollers I could find where their heads didn't hit the canopies.  Of course, we don't use it at home, as my boys wouldn't be caught "you know what" in a stroller at home, but it works great for Disney.  It came with a rain cover that worked great during our August trip, when we were visiting at the same time Tropical Storm Faye decided to make landfall.  The kids thought it was hysterical that they were bone dry and we were drenched.  Another option is a Citi Mini double stroller.  This pushes as easily as a jogger, but is slimmer in design and can navigate the parks easily. (It's capacity is 100 lbs total)  It's on the costly side, but you can rent one and have it delivered to your room by the independent company Orlando Stroller Rentals, LLC.  Many guests are very happy with this option because you'll have the stroller outside the parks unlike the Disney strollers that must be returned at the gates.

As for a moderate resort for your kids, I LOVE Caribbean Beach Resort.  The pools, in my opinion are the best themed in this category and there are nine (yes, nine) in total!  The Pirate-themed pool is incredible, and has water canons, kid-sized slides and lots of other really cool features.  The newly refurbished Pirate and Nemo rooms are fabulous.

    Have a magical trip!
