Hi Darcy!
Thanks for writing. Halloween is a fantastic time to bring your boys to Walt Disney World for the first time! One of my family's favorite special events is
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, which takes place on select evenings during the Fall at the Magic Kingdom. Kids can trick-or-treat throughout the park, watch a special fireworks spectacular, HalloWishes, and a fantastic parade (Mickey's Boo to You Parade) on Main Street that commences with a run of the headless horseman! Other "must do's" for my boys include: Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin at the Magic Kingdom; Test Track, Journey into Imagination and The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot; Star Tours and Toy Story Mania at Hollywood Studios; and, Kilimanjaro Safari, Expedition Everest (for my oldest son) and It's Tough to be a Bug at Animal Kingdom. My boys also love character meals. Some of our favorites are Cape May Buffet (for breakfast) at the Beach Club Resort, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort and The Garden Grill at Epcot. Finally, my boys recently enjoyed a special
Pirate Cruise at the Yacht Club where they went on an expedition with other kids their ages as they searched for treasure around several other resorts and at Epcot on a special "pirate boat".
I hope some of my suggestions help you plan a magical itinerary for your boys!
