Tanya I read the Moms everyday. If money were no object where would you stay and also what are your fav restaurants? ty diane

    Hi Diane!

Thanks for writing to me!  Oh, if money were no object, the damage I could do at Disney!  I'm guessing the Grand Floridian would be the choice of most folks who could afford any resort on site, with a concierge-level room topping their lists.  I'm a bigger fan of the Epcot Resort Area, however, and would opt for a similar concierge-level room at either the Yacht or Beach Club.  Here are my reasons.  Stormalong Bay (the pool area that the Yacht & Beach Club share) tops my list of all Disney pools.  It's truly amazing.  Next, the location of these resorts cannot be beat in my opinion.  Being able to walk to Epcot (and enter via the much less crowded International Gateway) and Hollywood Studios cannot be matched.  Finally, one of my favorite things about the Yacht & Beach is easy access to incredible dining options.  Between the World Showcase at Epcot, the Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach and Swan and Dolphin, you have incredible access to some of the best dining at Disney.

Speaking of dining, on to part two of your question.  Our favorite restaurants include:  Yachtsman Steakhouse, Flying Fish Cafe (at the Boardwalk), Jiko (at Animal Kingdom Lodge), Tutto Italia (Italy), and California Grille (at the Contemporary).  I also love Il Mulino at the Swan and Dolphin Resort.  My hubby and I had one of our first dates at Il Mulino in New York, and we love to visit this newer location at Disney!

Have a fabulous time planning a Disney Dream trip!
