    Tanya -If you could pick a place for lunch (outside the parks) on our last day before heading home, where would you suggest? We have the DP and will have one sit down meal left. maybe Boardwalk,WL, AK, GF. Already eating at Ohana & Chef Mickey. Than

    Hi there Patti!

    Thanks for writing to me!  I have two suggestions for your last lunch at Disney.  (Ooh, it sounds so depressing already!  Take my advice, start planning your next visit at your "last meal", it always takes the edge off that miserable, "we are going home today" feeling for me!)  Back to lunch....

    Depending upon where you are staying and what would be most convenient, I'd recommend the Grand Floridian Cafe (which is a lovely, Victorian restaurant that I love for it's fresh and innovative lunch menu, with creative sandwiches, soups and pasta) or Big River Brewing Company on the Boardwalk.  Here you can dine al fresco on the Boardwalk overlooking the lake. Big River is a microbrewery that has unusual ales and beers on tap, in addition to a great lunch menu.   Both choices are casual, and a wonderful way to end a perfect Disney trip!  You can check out the menus for each of my picks at the independent website, www.allears.net.  Simply click "Dining" from the home page, and scroll down.
