Hello Tara!
Thanks so much for sailing by!
Pirate night is a highlight of many
Disney Cruise Line voyages! Festivities include wonderful deck parties, interactive games, a live pirate show and, fireworks at sea (weather permitting). As you can imagine, some guests start planning their "pirate-garb" months before sailing, and arrive at their respective pirate-themed dinners in amazing pirate ensembles. Others will opt for simpler, yet equally festive outfits, including eye patches (available for purchase in the gift shops) and the free bandana left for passengers in their staterooms. The
dress code in at most Disney Cruise Line dinner dining venues allows for "cruise casual" attire. For gentlemen, you will find most in pants, dress shorts and polo-style or button down shirts. Women are generally in dresses, "capri" pants or dress shorts. Tank tops and bathing suits are not permitted in the dining rooms at dinner. On most seven night sailings, you will generally have one semi-formal evening, during which most gentlemen will wear slacks versus shorts, and often a button-down versus a polo-style shirt. Seven night sailings will also have a formal evening, during which most men will wear a jacket or suit, and women will wear more formal dresses or pant suits.
I hope you have a fabulous time at Pirate Night and a magical voyage!
