Hi Tania, Thank you for getting back to me. I neglected to mention which 2 bedroom villa we are staying in next month. We are registered at the Boardwalk Villas, standard view, but wanted Boardwalk view. How can we get upgrade? Linda

    Hi Linda!

Welcome back! Disney's BoardWalk Villas are amazing. Not only does Disney's BoardWalk offer nighttime entertainment and delicious dining options, but the location can't be beat. You can walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

A BoardWalk View is a bookable category, so usually you have to book that specific category. You can call and see if there's availability in that category and pay the difference. If you used Disney Vacation Club points, then that request will have to be made through Member Services.

If you booked with cash, then you can also inquire at check-in of the availability of upgrades. I actually prefer the Garden View rooms, because the landscaping around the resort is beautiful, and the BoardWalk View rooms can be noisy at night. There is often a lot of activity and music that can be heard if you're a light sleeper. If you're a night owl, then this may be the category for you!

Wishing you lots of pixie dust that you'll be able to secure your magical view!

    Tania
