Hi Tania, I'm taking my daughter (7yrs. old) on a solo trip to WDW to celebrate her upcoming birthday. We've done BBB & Cinderella's Royal Table so I was wondering what unique experiences you would suggest. I really want her to feel special. Thank you

    Hello Susan!

I have taken mother-daughter trips with two of my daughters, and they are the best! If your daughter is a 'Frozen' fan and you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in summerrrrrr (before September 1), then you won't want to miss Frozen-Summer Fun LIVE! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You can indulge in the Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package which includes reservations during Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome procession, reserved seating during For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, and a Frozen Fireworks Spectacular Viewing with Dessert Party. My daughters would declare me, "Best Mom Ever!" if they could eat Frozen-themed desserts while watching an amazing fireworks spectacular set to music from Frozen. For booking, please call (407) 939-1939.

Another special experience I have done with my daughters is Afternoon Tea at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Garden View Tea Room is temporarily closed and scheduled to reopen on August 30, 2014. If you are visiting in summer, afternoon tea will be moved to Citrico's Lounge. We love to dress in our 'tea best,' and enjoy the delicious scones while sipping on Mrs. Pott's Tea (chocolate milk for the both of us).

Truly, their favorite memory of our trips is when they plan an entire day of their choosing. Having a Disney mom is great, but when they get to use their Disney skills to plan a day filled with all their favorite attractions and snacks, then magical memories are made. Whether it's riding Toy Story Midway Mania five times or eating Mickey Premium Bars for dinner, if they can plan it, we can do it.

    Have a magical mother-daughter vacation!
