    Hello Tammy, My niece and I are going to Disney in feb. she got a Disney planner and the person is asking me if I have a MDE. I have been to Disney before and have the app on my phone. Is that the MDE?

I can't think of a better place to make lifelong memories that you will cherish for years to come. Let's talk about how to check on that MDE or My Disney Experience account, so you can get back to planning the best trip ever. 

    Chances are that if you have traveled to Walt Disney World Resort in the past few years, you have created a My Disney Experience account. This is your go-to source for managing hotel reservations, Park Pass reservations, and all the magical details in between. The My Disney Experience app is an amazing vacation essential (more on this later) and if you have logged into this app, you have an account! If you have not previously used the app and you are unsure if you have an existing My Disney Experience account, there is an easy way to check! Try logging in to My Disney Experience on the Walt Disney World website (or in the mobile app you referenced) with the email address you have previously used when planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacations. If you find that you do not currently have an account, Hakuna Matata! It only takes a few moments to set up your account and get back to planning. Once you have logged in to your account you can easily link all of your existing plans created by your travel professional (if they have not already done this for you).  

    Susan, you mentioned having the app on your mobile device, and that's great news! The My Disney Experience mobile app is essential for planning on the go during your magical stay. This fabulous app gives you access to Disney Genie, Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering, Disney MagicMobile Service, and so much more! Who knew you could fit so many phenomenal cosmic powers in one itty bitty app? Okay, so the app's powers may not be cosmic but they are mighty! You can also use My Disney Experience to secure dining reservations, adjust your itinerary in real-time, and join available virtual queues. Pro tip: Spend some time getting familiar with the app before you arrive, so that you can easily access the information that you need in moments. This can be a real-time saver!
