Thank you so much for visiting us again here at planDisney, and this time with your question about whether you will need proof of your toddler’s age.
Sarah, first, let me welcome you to the tall-kid mom club! I have two very tall girls myself, and they have always been at the very top of the growth chart at their doctor visits. So from one tall toddler mom to another, I completely understand why you are wondering if a Cast Member might take one look at your little Mouseketeer and think, “There is no way he is only two!”
In my experience, I have never been asked to show proof of my children’s ages when entering the parks. I have had Cast Members ask how old one of my girls was when she was two, and I let them know her age and was happy to provide her date of birth. That was all we needed.
If it would give you a little extra peace of mind, you could always keep a photo of your child’s birth certificate on your phone. But after visiting the parks with two very tall toddlers of my own, I can tell you that I have never personally been asked to provide documentation.
And Sarah, I also see that you will be visiting in October. Such a fun time to go!
