I have a tall 2 year old that can ride the 40” rides. How do we get him a fast pass with us if he doesn’t need a ticket?

    Hi there, Genna!

I’m so happy that you’re visiting the Disneyland Resort very soon. Exploring the sights and sounds of the parks alongside your little guy will be such a magical experience for both of you!

A perk of bringing children ages 2 and under to the theme parks is that you don’t need to purchase a theme park ticket for them! However, your son will still be able to enjoy many attractions, shows, parades and other experiences offered throughout the resort. If you have a valid Disney FASTPASS Return Time for an attraction and he is tall enough to ride it, he doesn’t need his own FASTPASS to accompany you. Just bring him along and explain that he is under 3 years old if a Cast Member asks you to present a theme park ticket for your son at the queue.

Did you know that kids under 3 years old also eat for free at all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experiences, including Character Dining meals? There are also meals specifically created with toddlers’ taste preferences and smaller appetites in mind at some restaurants for a reasonable price, so be on the lookout for those on the menu!

I hope this helps, Genna, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your little Mouseketeer!

    Wishing you magic,
