How tall is the slide at stormalong bay?

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for sending us your super fun question!  Stormalong Bay is one of my favorite pools on Walt Disney World Resort property, my family and I spend hours relaxing and enjoying all of the different options available at the pool during our stay!

A few years ago, my daughter was obsessed with the Flying Jib Slide and extensively researched everything she could about the slide.  After confirming with a Cast Member, the height of the Flying Jib Slide is 150 feet tall, and 230 feet long.  There are no specific height restrictions to ride, however children must be able to ride alone as riding double is not allowed.  In order to enjoy the slide, guests must walk up a flight of stairs that spiral up the mast of the giant replica shipwreck.  At the top, you will be able to take in some beautiful views of Disney's Beach Club Resort, as well as Crescent Lake.

While you are enjoying your time at Stormalong Bay, don't forget to stop by Beaches & Cream Soda Shop for a delicious meal and sweet treat for the entire family!  If you would prefer to continue lounging by the pool, Hurricane Hanna's Waterside Bar and Grill for some pool side snacks and beachy cocktails!

I this information was useful, Ashley.  If you have any other questions, please come back to planDisney, we are always happy to help.
